We are opening the Introduction to Programming in Salesforce course on March 4, 2020 .
>After the success of the first Salesforce administration course, we decided to come up with another one, this time focused on programming.
We asked Eliška Bušáková , the main lecturer of the developer course, to introduce him.
Eliška currently works at Enehano Solutions as a Salesforce ebay database developer and consultant . In less than three years in this position, she has, for example, implemented Salesforce for ESET , where they deployed a service cloud solution. She was also in charge of integration with the telephone exchange and related automation in Salesforce for Kofola . She is now working on a project for Zonky , where she is developing a multicloud solution for managing processes from marketing, through operations (communication with clients) to approvals.
Eliška, what brought you to programming?
Since elementary school, mathematics, and later physics and computer science, were my closest subjects. I also participated in such focused camps, and later organized them. After high school, I graduated from a university completely outside this field and only then did I decide to study computer science. Then everything happened very quickly. After the freshman year of Open Computer Science at CTU, I applied for a summer internship, where I got to Salesforce and stayed there .
What do you enjoy most about your job?
What I really enjoy about working as a Salesforce developer is using what I already know well, combined with new challenges. With each project, you gain a lot of experience that you can use on the next one, but never in the same way. Every implementation is different and always brings new questions and challenges. Personally, I need my work to be creative. I enjoy coming up with the best solution and fine-tuning the details. The reward is seeing a job well done. I like that the work goes really quickly on the Salesforce platform , because a lot of functionality is available out-of-the-box.
>>Eliška Bušáková as a participant in the panel discussion ads is that you can fill in all the data you need the Women In Tech meetup
Eliška, would you like to introduce us to the Introduction to Programming in Salesforce course?
>>The Introduction to Programming in Salesforce course is intended for all Salesforce administrators who want to broaden their horizons and look beyond where an admin’s work usually ends. In other words, we will look at when and why the standard Salesforce functionality is not enough. We will explore possible solutions that are offered. Both theoretically and practically. We will roll up our sleeves and write or modify some code. However, we will not get into any complex programming.
Why did Enehano decide to start the course?
Because there is a high demand for experts in this field and there are not enough of them.
The employment rate of women in IT in the Czech Republic is only 11% , which places us at the bottom of Europe in this regard. That is why Enehano supports these educational activities.
At the same time, I can say from my own experience that thailand data Salesforce offers a truly diverse range of positions to realize yourself. You don’t need to study mathematics first. A lot of things seem more complicated than they actually are until you try them. On our course, the girls will try a lot of things over the course of eight evenings. We hope they will enjoy it and it will motivate them to continue their journey.
What will graduates take away from it?
>>Graduates will take away a comprehensive view of the possibilities offered by the Salesforce platform in terms of developing their own functionality. In the final class, the girls will be divided into teams and will independently come up with an implementation proposal.
From there, it will be up to them.
Who would you recommend the course to and who wouldn’t?
I would recommend the course to admins who like challenges!
